Until June of 2001 I did research in the Advanced Internet Architectures group within the Chief Strategy Office at Cisco Systems in San Jose, California.
However, I have since left Cisco and gone to start yet another startup - my fifth.
For obvious reasons I can't really go into the details of what I'll be doing. However, I can say that I am working on issues that concern the life cycle costs of networks. As such my work involves nearly all disciplines of computer science - from networking to databases, from computational complexity to genetic algorithms.
